


President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the head of the United Nations Atomic Energy Commission (IAEA) Rafael Grossi.
According to a report by the American media CNN, their meeting was held in Kiev on Tuesday local time.
Grozny Zelenskiy held bilateral meetings to find ways to ensure the safety of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
In a tweet, Rafael Grossi said, “We must ensure the safety of Ukraine and Europe’s largest nuclear power plant.” If there is any damage to the nuclear power plant, the whole world will suffer the consequences.
And in the meeting with Grossi, Zelensky said that the threat of an attack on the nuclear power plant due to Russian troops is constantly increasing.
Zaporizhia is one of the largest nuclear power plants in Europe. Russian troops have taken control of this power plant since last March. Currently, Russian troops have built a military base around it.
There have been clashes in the area surrounding the nuclear power plant for the past week.
The international community, including the United Nations, the European Union, has called for an end to the conflict around the nuclear power plant.
