Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the surrender of Russian military personnel.
Qatar-based media reported this information in a report of Al-Jazeera.
Yesterday Saturday evening (September 24) Zelensky gave a regular speech on the latest situation of the war.
He called on the members of the Russian military forces fighting in Ukraine to surrender. “You will be treated civilly,” Zelensky said of surrendering to Russian forces. “No one will know the circumstances of your surrender.”
He also said that it is better to surrender to the Ukrainian army than to be killed in an attack by Ukraine.
In addition, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of sending his country’s citizens to their deaths.
