Twenty people were injured in two bomb blasts in Khuzdar, the divisional headquarters of Pakistan’s Kalat division, on Monday evening. Some of them are in serious condition, according to the country’s news media, Dawn.

The bomb first exploded on a motorcycle parked in the busy shopping area of ​​local Umar Farooq Chowk. Police said that seven people were injured.

As policemen and people rushed to the blast site to take the injured to hospital, another bomb planted on another motorcycle exploded injuring 13 people. All the injured were rushed to the hospital.

Senior police officer Jan Sassoli said both bombs were detonated by remote control devices at short intervals. The fire spread after the first blast and several shops were damaged by the impact of the two blasts. We found 20 people injured.

According to hospital sources, the condition of the three injured is critical. Some of the injured were burnt in the blast. Later Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar and Kalat DIG and Khuzdar SSP visited the area.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has ordered law enforcement agencies and administration to arrest criminals and increase security on Khuzdar Highway.
