The United States and the Western world have imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia over its military operations in Ukraine. Despite this, trade relations with Russia are continuously on the rise, said Pavan Kapoor, India’s ambassador to Moscow.
Pavan Kapoor made the above comments in an interview given to Russian media RTK.
Pavan Kapoor said, there is great hope of increasing bilateral relations of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. India buys a lot of oil and fertilizers from Russia. Besides, Russia is interested in importing many products from India such as textiles, tea, medicine, consumer goods, auto parts, etc.
He also mentioned that both the countries are working together to find ways to further increase bilateral trade after the impact of sanctions.
