The United States has announced the cancellation of 26 flights to China by four Chinese airlines.
Reuters reported this information in a report. The possible dates for these flights were from September 5 to 28.
In a statement, the US Department of Transportation said that 26 flights of American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines were canceled in China recently due to the Corona epidemic. Such an announcement has been made as a counter-reaction.
Of the Chinese flights, 19 were scheduled to depart from Los Angeles and 7 from New York.
Beijing strongly criticized the decision of the Chinese airline to cancel the flight. According to Beijing’s Washington-based spokesperson, the US government’s decision is ‘extremely irresponsible’ and ‘baseless’.
He urged the US government to seriously consider the health issue of the passengers.
