


Three cities in Iran have been nominated for the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC). A tourism official of the country informed this information. Hamedan, Kelardasht and Ardakan have applied for membership in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, IRIB reported on Sunday, citing tourism official Syed Mostafa Fatemi.
Hamedan is spread over a wide area in the high plains. The cultural heritage sites of the city are always ready to welcome visitors. The city has become a popular tourist destination with picturesque natural landscapes, traditional restaurants, public gardens, colorful outdoor markets and other important attractions.
