Teachers are the craftsmen of the nation. But when the teacher does evil, then? Parents of at least six female students have recently accused a school principal in India of sexual harassment. The incident took place in the fort of Chhattisgarh. The police arrested the headmaster of the school on the charge of molestation this Saturday. The female students complained that the headmaster used to call her to her office chamber and molest her.
Although this incident has been going on for many days, it came to light on Saturday. Parents of several girl students have accused the headmaster of a private school located in Shantinagar area of Durg of molestation. It is learned that more than six school students along with their families went to Supela police station and lodged a written complaint. It is said that all the complainants are minors. Meanwhile, the parents of the victimized students are shocked in this incident. Many people do not believe that the headmaster of the school can do such a thing. They demanded strict punishment of this accused head teacher.
Durgesh Sharma, station house officer of Supela police station, told news agency PTI about the incident, “The children complained that the headmaster called them to his office chamber and misbehaved with them.” Further investigation is underway to find out whether he misbehaved with anyone other than these six students. Police are also interrogating other teachers and students of the school.
