The ruling Taliban in Afghanistan has condemned the attack by the terrorist group IS on the shrine of Hazrat Ahmad bin Musa in the southern city of Shiraz, Iran. At the same time, IS has been termed as an enemy of Islam and Muslims.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a Twitter message on Friday, “We condemn this terrorist attack and express our condolences to the families of the victims.”

He also said that the government of Afghanistan also condemns this terrorist attack.

Zabiullah Mujahid said, Takfiri terrorist group Daesh or IS has attacked many times in Afghanistan and killed many innocent people. The IS group is an enemy of the holy religion of Islam and Muslims.

Last Wednesday, 15 pilgrims, including two children, were martyred and 30 injured in a Daesh or IS gun attack on the shrine in Shiraz, the central city of Fars province, Iran.
