Russian forces have taken full control of Pisky, a village on the outskirts of Ukraine’s Donetsk region. On Saturday, the Russian news agency Interfax reported the matter, citing the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Russian and pro-Russian forces said they took full control of Piski more than a week ago.
The ministry also said Russian forces destroyed a depot storing US-supplied Himmers rocket systems and ammunition for the system near Kramatorsk, Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Health Minister Viktor Liashko said in an interview given to AP on Friday that Russia has been blocking the transportation of medical supplies for the past 5 and a half months since the start of military operations in Ukraine. They are committing crimes against humanity by preventing the delivery of medical supplies.
Liashko also said that because of the obstruction of the delivery of medical supplies, it is not possible to send emergency and life-saving medicines to the Ukrainians in the occupied cities and villages.
