The public life of Delhi, the capital of India, has been affected by the bone-chilling winter. Life disrupted by wind and thick fog in Konkan. Delhi’s private schools ended winter vacation on Sunday. Schools were supposed to open from today. Meanwhile, the Delhi Education Department issued a notification on Sunday. It said, ‘Due to the ongoing cold wave in Delhi, all private schools have been ordered to remain closed till January 15.’

Temperatures in Delhi and its surrounding areas have been dropping continuously for several days. Sunday was the worst winter outbreak. Delhi’s temperature was recorded at 1.9 degrees Celsius that morning. Earlier in 2021, the temperature of the capital was 1.1 degrees Celsius.
