Bodies are being recovered one after another after a plane crash with 72 passengers in Nepal’s Pokhara. Among the dead, 15 are foreign nationals. In this accident, 40 bodies were recovered till noon.

The Yeti Airlines flight was traveling from the capital Kathmandu to Pokhara. The plane crashed between Pokhara’s old airport and the new international airport on Sunday morning local time.

All the passengers are believed to have died as the fire broke out shortly after the crash. Of the 72 passengers on board, 68 were passengers and 4 were crew. Pokhara International Airport has been closed after the plane crash.

Yeti Airlines spokesman Sudarshan Bartaula told the Kathmandu Post that at least 40 bodies have been recovered from the plane crash. It is not yet known what happened to the rest of the passengers.
