Passengers catch a thief while stealing a mobile phone from a train window in India. Later, the passengers dragged the thief hanging for about 10 km.
The incident took place on a train on the Begusarai-Khagria route in Bihar last Wednesday (September 14) night.
It is known that the train was going to Khagria from Begusarai in Bihar. On the way, just before the departure of the train from Sahebpur Kamal station, a thief tried to snatch the mobile phone of a passenger by putting his hand inside the window. And immediately a passenger grabbed the thief’s hand.
Meanwhile the train started moving. But the passenger did not let go of the thief.
A video related to this has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the young man is seen repeatedly apologizing to the passengers and requesting them not to let go of his hand. Because if he let go of his hand, he would surely die in an accident. Besides, he repeatedly vowed never to steal again in his life.
However, the passengers did not leave the hands of the thief. This is how the thief was taken from Sahebpur Kamal station to Khagaria, which is 10 km away. And before reaching the station, the passengers let him go.
After watching this video on social media, netizens are commenting against the thief. While some supported punishing the thief, most people criticized it. They strongly condemned such a harsh punishment for stealing a mobile phone. Because the thief was hanging so far that he was in danger of losing his life at any moment. In this case, they commented that the train should have been stopped by pulling the chain of the train.
