He was not invited to attend the opening ceremony of ‘Duty Path’ from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate in New Delhi, India. The invitation was to join virtually. As a result, Mamata Banerjee’s anger towards the Center is not unusual. But that anger increased even more during the visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, who was ignored.
The chief minister of West Bengal raised all the anger at the workers conference of Netaji Indoor in Kolkata on Thursday. Said, ‘I am not anyone’s bonded labour.’ Maybe the BJP government or Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mamata has made it clear that she will not be present at the event at India Gate. He did not receive any invitation from Delhi during Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit. Therefore, analysts say, Chief Minister Mamata said not to be at the India Gate ceremony because of that anger.
Mamata alleged that she was invited to attend the event on behalf of a bureaucrat at the level of ‘Under Secretary’. Referring to the complaint, he said, ‘Under Secretary has given me a letter. It has been said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate at 7 o’clock, you will be present at 6 o’clock. Not bonded labour. Before coming here, I garlanded Netaji’s statue.’
