


Indian industrialist Gautam Adani has been recognized as the second richest person in the list of Forbes, a popular American business magazine around the world. He surpassed Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Louis Vuitton’s Bernard Arnault in terms of wealth.
Currently, Adani’s assets are valued at USD 154.7 billion. Ahead of him is only Elon Musk, whose assets amount to 273 billion US dollars.
Last month, Adani overtook Arnault as the third richest man in the world. Currently, the third richest man in the world, Arnold and his family have a total wealth of 153.5 billion US dollars. His net worth fell by $4.9 billion, or 3.08 percent, on Friday.
Jeff Bezos is fourth on this list with a net worth of $149.7 billion. His net worth has decreased by $2.3 billion compared to earlier.
Mukesh Ambani, head of Reliance Industries Limited, is at number eight in the list of the top rich. His wealth is 92 billion dollars.
Gautam Adani, a first-generation entrepreneur and head of the Adani Group, is reported by Indian news media NDTV. His company is comprised of seven publicly listed companies spanning infrastructure, mining, energy and other sectors.
Adani Enterprises has invested heavily in the last five years in new growth sectors including airports, cement, copper refining, data centers, green hydrogen, petrochemical refining, roads and solar cell manufacturing.
His company plans to enter the telecom space. Besides, this industrial company has extensive plans to grow in green hydrogen and airport business.
Adani Group has committed $70 billion for green energy infrastructure.
