At least seven people have been killed in a spate of indiscriminate shootings in California in the United States in three days. Local time Monday, about 50 kilometers south of San Francisco, the shooting happened in two places in the city of Half Moon Bay.

According to news agency Reuters, the suspect in the shooting incident has been taken into police custody. The shooter, Zhao Chunli, is 67 years old, the San Francisco Chronicle Sheriff’s Office reported. However, the investigators could not immediately know what caused the attack.

Earlier on Saturday night, 11 people were killed in another indiscriminate shooting incident in Monterey Park, Los Angeles County.
