


Three people were killed and one injured in a rare shooting and stabbing incident in rural Japan on Thursday. The perpetrator barricaded himself inside a building, the country’s media reported. Reuters news.
Few details were immediately available about the incident. At the scene, a masked man stabbed a woman and shot Nagano in central Japan, NHK TV reported.
The media also reported that two police officers were also killed and one injured in the incident. It was not immediately known if they had been stabbed or shot.
