The G20 summit of the world’s top economies has begun in Bali, Indonesia. The conference, which begins on Tuesday, is expected to agree on steps to help the alliance recover the global economy.

On the eve of the G20 summit, US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping held a three-hour bilateral meeting on Monday. This meeting of the two world leaders is seen as very positive. Despite differences on various issues, the two leaders promised more frequent contacts.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo has expressed hope that the leaders of rich countries will at least unite on economic issues amid the Russia-Ukraine war and rising global inflation.
