The year is 1996. Peter Hickels, a resident of Essex, UK, went to Australia to watch a football match. He suddenly fell ill there. Initially, the doctors thought that Peter had cancer. However, after a few days, he was found to be suffering from a cancer called ‘Hodgkin’s Lymphoma’.

The doctors told Peter at that time that he would not live for more than 10 years. At the age of 21, Peter naturally broke down due to death. The doctors said that after taking chemotherapy for treatment, his ability to produce sperm may be lost after a few days.

At that time the doctors advised him to save the sperm. Peter keeps the sperm in a sperm bank at very low temperature. But then all the equations are reversed. It has been 26 years since he was diagnosed with cancer. Peter is still alive today.

However, after the ninth round of chemo during his cancer treatment, Peter became almost spermless. So even though he wanted to have a child, it was quite difficult for him to become a father naturally.

That’s why Peter and his girlfriend, 32-year-old Aurelia, recently decided to try to have a child using the IVF method, using sperm saved 26 years ago. Their efforts were successful. Peter and Aurelia became parents of a child on October 20.

This incident surprised the whole world. The fact that many impossible things can be made possible through medical science is once again proved through the incident of Peter. After becoming a father, 47-year-old Peter was showered with wishes by those close to him. His lover was not left out.
