


UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel on a state visit to mark the two-year anniversary of normalization of relations. Khabar al-Arabia.
The UAE ministry said the visit would last several days and the minister was accompanied by a high-level economic delegation.
The UAE’s top diplomat will discuss with senior Israeli officials a number of issues of common interest related to bilateral relations and prospects for UAE-Israel cooperation.
The Times of Israel reported that Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid is scheduled to meet with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates. A press conference will be held after the meeting.
The UAE normalized relations with Israel in September 2020 by signing the US-brokered Abraham Accords. Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan have also followed suit.
The Emirati foreign minister visited Israel in March to attend a regional summit with the foreign ministers of Israel, the US, Bahrain, Egypt and Morocco.
