Sirajul Khan and his son Nafiu Khan of Gazipur went on a rampage at a liquor bar in Kolkata after coming to India to see a doctor. Kolkata Police arrested them on this charge.

According to the Indian media Anandabazar Patrika, they were arrested from a bar in Kolkata’s Free School Street on Sunday (December 25). The police of the country informed the Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner in an e-mail.

On Sunday Christmas night, two feet away, people were enjoying the festival on Park Street. Father and son who came to get treatment in Kolkata during the festival also performed in the festival. At around 10 o’clock on Sunday night, the father and son entered a pub on Free School Street in New Market Square. But after drinking, he got drunk and started misbehaving with the bar staff. Sujit Bakshi, an employee of the bar, filed a complaint with the police.

Sujeet told the police that the drunken father and son pushed him and started misbehaving with the workers. Later, when the bar’s security guard came to stop them, the drunken father and son injured them by kicking and punching them. Sujith himself and Shankar Rudra, another employee of the pub, were injured in this incident. Both of them were taken to SSKM Hospital for treatment. But as the injuries were not serious, they were released after treatment.

According to police sources, the father and son from Bangladesh are named Serajul Khan and Nafiu Khan. Their house is in Tongivoran, Mannunagar, Gazipur, Bangladesh. Based on the complaint of Sujith, a resident of Banshala, a bar worker, and after talking to the witnesses, the police arrested both of them. Both the families have been informed about the incident and informed about the arrest.
