


At least 17 people have been killed and at least 3 injured in a massive fire in a restaurant in northeastern China.
According to Chinese media, a fire broke out at a restaurant in the northeastern city of Changchun around 12:40 p.m. local time.
Later, the firemen reached the spot and brought the fire under control after trying for about 3 hours.
According to the statement, the injured were rescued and sent to the hospital for treatment.
The authorities said that an investigation is underway to find out the cause of the fire. For the past few months, there have been terrible fires in China. Last July, 15 people were killed and more than 25 injured in a warehouse fire. The previous month, a fire at a martial arts school killed 18 people. Most of them were children.
