


A huge fire broke out in a high-rise building in Chengsha, the capital of China’s southern province of Hunan. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
The fire broke out in the building on Friday (September 16) afternoon, Reuters reported.
The 200 meter high multi-storied building is owned by China’s state-owned telecommunications company. The company had its provincial headquarters in Hunan Province. China Telecom has 362 thousand subscribers. And 2 lakh 70 thousand people work in this telecom.
In a video shared on social media, the multi-storey building was completely engulfed in flames.
According to Chinese media, many people were rescued after the building caught fire. Many may be trapped inside the building. It is not known what caused the fire in the building.
Changsha is the capital of Hunan Province. About 1 crore people live in that city.
