This earthquake was felt in the coastal area of Sumatra island around 6:30 am local time on Monday.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 48 kilometers (30 miles) south-southeast of Singkil, Indonesia’s Aceh province, at a depth of 37 kilometers.
Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climate and Geology Agency (BMKG) said no tsunami warning was issued due to the earthquake.
The country’s disaster agency said there were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage due to the earthquake.
