17 people were killed and 22 injured in a road accident in eastern China’s Jiangxi province. This kind of accident happened on Sunday in Nanchang County of the country. An extensive investigation is underway to find out the cause of the accident.

State Broadcasting Center CCTV reported that the casualty occurred when a truck hit the people participating in the funeral procession. Most of the casualties were funeral processions.

Meanwhile, the Nanchang County Traffic Police issued a travel advisory for drivers an hour after the accident. It warns of foggy conditions, with very low driving visibility. Road accidents can easily occur due to poor visibility.

Note that road accidents have become very common in China due to the lack of strict safety regulations.
